A workshop that begins with an in depth look at my design philosophy of the essential elements, Variety, Value/Volume & Rest. We begin with a trunk show of gorgeous quilts that identify all of these elements and how they work together in varying degrees in each quilt. Designed to increase fabric selection confidence so you can shop as well as use up your stash effectively to create stunning dynamic quilts.

Using what we've learned, we will make 3 different intricate quilt blocks with a high focus on piecing accuracy as well as fabric selection. We'll make blocks from Miss Elizabeth, Kindred Spirit & Haystack. The result at the end of the day is truly amazing, as we see how all of our blocks could work together in one quilt, providing we followed the Variety, Value & Rest theory.
